How often does each brand post?
Maybelline and L’Oréal Paris both are equally active on
Facebook and they post every new product launched here on Facebook page almost
on daily basis but this rate is found to be less for Maybelline than L’Oréal
Paris. The reason for this difference could be to make their promotion more
qualitative than to be more quantitative as L’Oréal Paris has more products
related to skin care, makeup etcetera as compared to Maybelline.
What kind of content does each company post?
The content of both the companies is almost same as they
mainly promote their upcoming products yet the products vary in various ways,
like as products available online or in stores, products related to makeup,
skin or many more.
For example in case of Maybelline, it mainly posts new
products and mostly the makeup products such as eye shadows, eye liners, and
mascara and lip glosses etcetera. On the other hand, L’Oréal Paris promotes not
only eye makeup products but also the skin care. L’Oréal Paris also shows the
availability of the products that whether it is in stores or online. They both
use videos as well as regular posts.
Maybelline uses short video clips related to makeup tricks
or newly launched products more often than the pictures yet L’Oréal Paris has
the reversed pattern. Its frequency for posting photographs is more than short
clips and has slightly lesser followers.
Does each company use the 50/50 rule?
Yes both companies use 50/50 rule as they both use some fake
as well as true information. Most of the fashion products do use false
information to have more sales in their products, this can be clarified from
their posts.
